Standard Wedding photography isn’t really my thing. I respect and admire the many wedding photographers who do this so well, but it's not my thing, it's a bit too procedural and formulaic by nature of the special occassion.
As a working professional photographer for the last twenty years, when my friends and family get married. I bring my camera. Not wanting to step on the toes of the hired photographer, I found my opportunities when they were off with the Bride and Groom and after the hired photographer would leave and the party would really escalate.
As a bar, nightclub and event photographer for over a decade I would bounce between venues creating hundreds of unique photos, that work for the personality of the people , putting them at ease and then pushing them just out of their comfort zone to actually get a photo they'll love forever.
When I mentioned above that my photos can act like a gift to the guests, it is because I am very thorough in my coverage and will be able to get everyone in a photo that can be their family photo of the year, their Christmas card, their dating profile pic or an image that shows the world how much fun their life is.

I have lived, and been doing photography for long enough to know how rare and special each individual moment is.
Things never happen exactly the same way twice.
I'm never shy to engage with the guests of all ages. I've taken photos of people at everything from raves to celebrations of life, so I know how to read the room and adjust my photography appropriately.
I have been doing this long enough that many of my photos have become "the" photo upon their passing. I make sure that every guest get's a profile picture worthy image.
This image at first glance, is largely unremarkable.
However, to my brother it was one of the coolest moments of the day.
Two of his best friends, from different times of his life and his brother just chilling.
As he walked past he said
" This ,.. this is cool man"
I then made him walk back where he started so I could capture it "candidly"
This moment inspired MOMENTS YOU MISS
The basic principle of this, is don't focus on the bride and groom. I focus on everything you will miss
I capture the memories you miss on your special day
My primary focus is to capture how your guests experience the day how your guests mingle and bond with each other and if you've hired me for the wedding reception I of course, stay later than the usual photographer.
My day is not as intense I mingle get a feel for the video and capture the day almost like I was an undercover guest.
I can take photos and videos on guests phones, to add my flair to an already special day of many photos.
